2019 – ICI Christian Witness in the Public Arena

The fourth in the annual series of Christian Witness in the Public Arena Seminar of the Institute for Christian Impact (ICI), took place 17th to 23rd June, 2019 at the Faculté de Théologie Evangélique de l’Alliance Chrétienne (FATEAC), Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The theme was Mission for a Bright Africa- To be or not to be. ICI was deliberate in hosting the seminar in Côte d’Ivoire as it has been the country with the most consistent number of participants in all ICI Seminars in the past four years.  They have further followed up such events with local consultations and conversations to impact Church and society at large. The seminar brought together Christians from across Africa and other parts of the world to share and reflect on the spiritual, social, and political issues confronting Africa, as well as ways in which Christians can respond to those issues. The Abidjan Seminar further emphasized the  vision of the Institute to see the Church and Christians in Africa engaging biblically and effectively with complex realities  within the  African context.
